The apartment is part of our private 54-acre Woodwinds property in Tenants Harbor, surrounded by Maine woods, walking trails, blueberry fields, and two private coves with access to the St. George River. The apartment is located above the garage and must be accessed by stairs, with no elevator or step-free entrance, so guests with mobility concerns should keep this in mind when booking. While the apartment offers plenty of privacy, there are two other rental homes located elsewhere on the property, so you may occasionally see other guests enjoying the trails or waterfront. This is a true Maine setting, which means you can expect uneven terrain, wildlife, mosquitoes, and ticks depending on the season. We recommend bringing good walking shoes, bug spray, and checking for ticks after spending time outdoors. The apartment is a comfortable home base for guests looking for a quiet stay while still having access to everything the Woodwinds property has to offer.
